The Centre for Air pollution, energy and health Research (CAR) is a Centre of Research Excellence funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council. CAR undertakes cutting-edge research to understand how air and noise pollution affect human health, and how we can minimise these impacts to improve the health of all Australians. CAR brings together researchers operating in diverse but related disciplines, from eight of the Australia's leading universities. We are based in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania.
