The vision of The Children's Literacy Charity is to close the literacy gap for disadvantaged children. These are challenging times for disadvantaged children who are in danger of being left even further behind particularly following the school closures during the Covid 19 pandemic. We feel our work is needed more than ever and your support will help us to close the literacy gap for those children who start behind in life. Better literacy fuels motivation, resilience and self esteem and paves the way for learning. Closing the literacy gap opens up the world for a child. The Children’s Literacy Charity exists to change the lives of children and young people. Our Literacy and Reading Labs in primary schools provide children with the vital and rare opportunity to receive high-quality literacy intervention. Our Expert tutors, provide regular, one-to-one tuition that is tailored to suit each individual child’s needs.
