The Partnership is a business-led organization seeking to help existing Geauga County businesses grow by retaining and adding jobs and helping to attract appropriate new businesses to the County. The Partnership serves as a trusted advisor to County businesses and stakeholders to facilitate business retention, expansion and investment. The Partnership is principally supported by business membership dues. Action based in its approach to improving business growth, the Partnership will: • Assist in defining and carrying out projects that retain or grow jobs in Geauga County. • Provide confidential consultation to local businesses regarding opportunities and challenges. • Facilitate infrastructure projects that will benefit business sectors or locations, such as roads, utilities or broadband. • Facilitate discussions with educational institutions about training programs or other educational offerings that enhance the capabilities of workers needed by County businesses. • Respond to requests for information concerning zoning and other regulations, real estate available for development, and State of Ohio and other economic incentive programs. • Market County business growth opportunities to firms interested in relocating to or expanding in Geauga County. • Connect businesses to financial or expert resources in Northeast Ohio that could support the growth of County businesses.
