SET Swiss Energy Trading AG was founded by Swissgas and VNG at the beginning of 2009. Since 2009 until the end of September 2011, SET has operated through the VNG trading platform. On October 1, 2011, SET started its own trading platform and since then all trading is managed solely by SET. The main activities of SET are trading of gas commodities and capacities. SET is active on NCG, TTF and Wallbach. In the future trading of other commodities is envisaged, such as oil, LNG and power.
